HAVANA NIGHTS BALL
HAVANA NIGHTS BALL
The Giant Steps Havana Nights Ball was held on Saturday, 11th May 2019 in the Grand Ballroom at the International Convention Centre at Darling Harbour.
The room was decked out with colour and tropical foliage setting off the “Havana Nights” theme.
Guests dressed to suit the theme with lots of fun and colourful outfits. They were welcomed by Capoeira Topazio musicians and enjoyed the talents of Tropical Soul Dancers with the High Rollers Big Band packing the dance floor later in the evening.
Special thanks to the wonderful Amanda Keller who acted as our MC.
The heartfelt speech given by Giant Steps mum Jo Maditas touched everyone and the Giant Steps video was beautiful.
The lucky winner of the Toyota Yaris was Lisa Blythe, congratulations Lisa!
We are delighted that the Giant Steps Havana Nights Ball has raised a record $525,000!
Thank you so much to all our supporters. All the donors of prizes, corporate sponsors, guests on the night, volunteers, all the people who purchased prizes, raffle tickets, lucky dip tokens, made a pledge, all who contributed to the presentations and entertainment, the Giant Steps Board, parents and staff who supported the ball and finally the amazing Giant Steps Ball Committee!
